Hachem Domloj – PE
PresidentAs CIVE®’s President/CEO, Mr. Domloj has over 20 years of experience in Civil & Structural Engineering, Construction Management and Design. Mr. Domloj is responsible for developing, designing, coordinating, reviewing and evaluating projects and ongoing work of the Engineering and Construction Division. Mr. Domloj ensures that work is performed in accordance with overall company policies and accepted professional standards, but with considerable latitude for the exercise of independent judgment in solving problems that arise within the delegated area of authority.
Steve Williams
Vice PresidentAs CIVE®’s Vice President Mr. Williams has more than 25 years of experience in management, design engineering, and construction of various projects including: telecommunication site design and construction, paving and drainage facilities, residential and commercial facilities. Mr. Williams oversees design and assist in facilitation of construction process. Mr. Williams is directly involved in the review and selection of all subcontractors and vendors. He is responsible for the review of the construction bids for accuracy and completeness of bids as they relate to the construction documents.
Hikmat Zerbe – PhD, PE
Head of Structural EngineeringAs CIVE® Head Structural Engineer, Dr. Zerbe has more than 30 years of experience in Computer Modelling, Analysis, Design, Detailing and Site Supervision of all types of structures. This includes residential and commercial buildings, hotels, medical buildings, industrial & warehouse buildings, power plants, and oil & gas. Dr. Zerbe’s experience is coupled with scattered full-time and part-time teaching positions of design courses, which deepened knowledge in the use of all American Codes and Design Regulations and provided superior capabilities to take proper decisions for perfectly sound yet economical solutions.
Fadel EI Samman
Projects DirectorAs CIVE®’s Projects Director, Mr. El Samman has over thirteen years of experience in project and construction management of utility and public infrastructure projects. Mr. El Samman’s primary focus is to manage multiple projects, objectives, and deadlines in addition to project estimating and procurement management.
Saad Kejji
General ManagerAs CIVE®’s General Manager, Mr. Kejji has more than fifteen years of experience in Business Management. He is also responsible for the company’s finances, financial planning, management of financial risks, record keeping and financial reporting. Mr. Kejji is also responsible for construction contract administration, preparation of contract bid documents, establishing and maintaining contract records, and compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
HISTORY
2003
Hachem laid the first foundation of CIVE® – a name inspired by Civil Engineering course code, found in many universities’ academic curriculum – as a Civil & Structural Engineering consulting firm in a 10’ x 10' office in Houston.
2004
The company took off in the design engineering realm to take on more complex projects, gaining trust of its newly developed and a growing client base along the way.
2006
CIVE® grew to become a full service design firm, by adding architectural design to its service mix as well.
2008
CIVE® vertically integrated its operations and added engineering-driven construction into its service mix. Clients could now enjoy a fully engineered structure from design to construction, with a maximized ROI.
2008
CIVE® went international, by establishing its first office in Doha, Qatar and became part of the country's development drive. CIVE® executes heavy infrastructure projects in Qatar.
2014
The company entered industrial sector by building a cement distribution facility, spread over 10 acre of fully developed tract.
2018
CIVE® won a project that has really put Houston on the map. Houston will soon be home to the world's largest privately owned cement terminal ever built! CIVE is performing both design, construction and procurement for this project at the Port of Houston.
2019
CIVE Ready Mix LLC is born, as an independent entity, unrelated to CIVE Inc.
